Lord Shiva as Swayambumurthy blesses devotees. This is Sri Chandikeswara ‘s birthplace which blesses the devotees in all the temples of Shiva. The shrine of Lord Bhairavar is in the Maha Mandapam which generates a bronze metal sound if tapped.
