Another story says that Jaso Manik, one of the kings of the Jayanthi family, married the daughter of the Hindu Koch king Nara Narayanan and this led the king to convert to Hinduism. It was in this context that the goddess appeared in the dreams of King Jaso Manik and ordered him to build a temple in the mountains.

As the temple is built on the top of the hill, the architecture of the temple is planned with a view of the Myundu River from below.
