Punyakotinathar Temple -Thiruvidaivasal, Thiruvarur,Tamil Nadu(276 Shiva Sthalangal)

In Thiruvidaivasal Village in the Thiruvarur District of Tamilnadu, Punyakotinathar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This location is called Thiruvidaivaai as well. This is the 276th Devaram Paadal Petra Shiva Sthalam, located on the south side of the River Cauvery in 274 temples.
Nadu Chozha. This was because of Kalvettu’s Tirugnanasambandar hymns on the Karuvarai wall.In 1917, the 275th Thevara Sthalam was added.

During the digging of a mud mound, the temple and the Thevara hymns dedicated to this shrine were found in inscriptions and are thus not part of the original collection of the Thirumurais compiled by Nambiyandar Nambi.

Thepathigam is known as Puthiya Pathigam here.In his Adaivu Thiruttandakam, Appar refers to this shrine as Vidaivaikkudi.In the Devakoshtam arenoteworthy, there are no Rajagopuram and Kodimaram.

Ganapathi, Durga and other deities. Ambal’s sculpture carrying Sambandar on her lap and offering the Holy Milk is situated at the entrance to the shrine of Abhirami.
