Tirukkazhippalai Palvannanathar Temple is a Hindu temple located at Chidambaram in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu, India. The presiding deity is Shiva in the form of Palvannanathar and his consort is known as Vedanayaki.

The Temple faces east and has three tier Rajagopuram. There is a temple being restored / moved. The place was earlier called as Karaimedu, was on the northern bank of the river Coloroon-Kollidam, it was named Kazhipalai. The temple was severely damaged due to floods at Kollidam.

Then this temple was built with Lord and Mother Kazhipalai. The original temple was on the banks of the Kollidam River, 13 Kms from the present site. The temple is a small one that enshrines a small white-colored Shivalingam. Lord Shiva is a Swayambumurthy inside the temple.

Presiding Deity is called Palvannanathar and is called Vedha Nayagi as Mother. Its tiny in Moolavar
Size with small “Kuzhi” on top which collects abisheka milk. Others are abishekams for Just Avudayar.
