Interesting  Places Visit Tuticorin To Shirdi With Accomodation:

Tuticorin ‘Muthu Kuzhithurai’ is also known by the name. It is also named Tamil Nadu ‘s Sea Gateway. Tuticorin is part of the Pearl Fishery Coast and is known for its industry of pearl fishing and shipbuilding. Has Been A Center for Maritime Trade And Pearl Fishery For More Than 2000 Years The Ancient Town of Korkai (The Modern Tuticorin).

The Temple of Thiruchendur Murugan is an ancient Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. For this temple, the Puranic name, or historical name, is Jayanthipuram. This temple is the fourth Hindu temple to earn ISO certification in Tamil Nadu. It is situated in the east end of the city of Thiruchendur, in the Tuticorin district. The Temple Complex is on the Bay Of Bengal Shores. Temple is open at 5 a.m.

Tiruchendur Murugan Temple is one of Lord Karthik ‘s Six Main Abodes, or Holy Temples. Soorasamharam, a reenactment of Soorapadman ‘s victory, and Kanda Shasti, a devotional song performed at the Temple in praise of Lord Muruga. In Tamil, Tiruchendur means Sacred And Beautiful City.

At Thoothukudi, Our Lady Of Snows Shrine Basilica is located. It is one of the centres of Catholic pilgrimage dedicated to Our Lady of Snows, a title granted to St. Mary. The name of the shrine refers to Rome’s Basilica Di Santa Maria Maggiore. The history of the basilica of the shrine is closely related to the history of the conversion of the Paravars (Tuticorin), the indigenous inhabitants of the fishery of the Pearl coast.

Roche Park is located about 4 km away from the town of Thoothukudi. The park is on the way to the shore of Port And Is By. Because of the scenic beauty and calmness of the seashore, Roche Park has become a popular picnic spot. During festivals and holidays, the place attracts a significant number of tourists.

The river is surrounded by many exuberant green plants.
